MADE IN ITALY IN LAS VEGAS

Milan, May 19th – For the seventh time a selection of the best Italian companies in the hospitality sector exhibited under the umbrella name of ItalianContract4HospitalityDesign (ic4hd) at HD Expo – the most important trade show for the segment on the US market.

The expo took place from May 3rd to 5th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas and registered an important increase in the number of specialized visitors. 2017 edition attendance was just over 11,500 visitors coming from 60 different countries with a total of 865 exhibiting companies.

Architectural firms, designers, specifiers, contractors, developers, owners and purchasing offices of hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, casinos and residences visited the fair both to check out the latest products presented by the exhibitors and to show the projects in their pipelines.

Thanks to the excellent position on the two main corridors, and to the intense promotional activities prior and during the show on ic4hd blog (www.ic4hd.it) and social media, ItalianContract4HospitalityDesign was visited by important architects, designers and specifiers.

All the Italian Contract proposals stirred up great attention and enthusiasm, each company shown some news, embodying the best of Made in Italy for high quality and design.

Atlas Concorde exhibited its Marvel Stone, a project focused on luxurious contemporary design, with a wide and extensive range of coordinated marble and stone-effect tiles where beauty meets the versatility of porcelain stoneware and the practicality of ceramic.

Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola presented the collection Genus. Full-body porcelain tiles, with a Latin name meaning seed, origin, new development that emphasizes the creative origin of the collection.

Indel B amazed the visitors with Flyingbar, the thinnest minibars in the world, combining Smart Technology and fine Italian design.

Lea Ceramiche exhibited Type 32 Slimtech (designed by Diego Grandi) the project surprises with graphics offered in 4 color variations that allow for infinite combinations and which create an original and unusual variation on decorated flooring.

Lithos Design, participating for the first time at HD Expo, surprised the attendants with Le Pietre Incise collection, distinguished by the superior level of technology implemented in the industrial processing which transform the wall into an expression of contemporary design.

Loloey exhibited the Kirk Nix collection (designed by Kirk Nix). Inspired by twentieth century artists the collection features rich coloration with wool and silk fabrication.

Marca Corona another new entry of Ic4hd group presented 4D a project based on structures or rather a collection of projects that suggest a new manner of interpreting a collection of ceramic tiles so that these can be matched with other materials.

Mirage featured Rêve, a project that takes porcelain stoneware and reworked resin from a more contemporary angle while preserving its eclectic personality and versatility by finding the perfect palette of colors and recreating the tactile nature of the slabs.

Mosaico Digitale surprised the visitors with its brand new technology of the Smart Mosaic for Smart Hotel  a new experience that creates interactive hotel solutions.

Stile Società Cooperativa, exhibiting for the first year at HD Expo, presented the style of Italian wood flooring with their Contemporary collection, that combines innovative alkaline-based products with fine pigments creating  a unique and three-dimensional texture, highlighting both the sinuosity of the grains and the material character of the natural product.

Last but not least, Tirolo Sedie presented their chair Camelia, produced with selected fine fabrics combined together with beech wood to obtain the perfect result of elegance.
