Submissions Now Open for the 2018 IIDA/HD Expo Product Design Awards

 New York, NY (March 29, 2018) – Submissions are now open for the 22nd annual IIDA/HD Expo Product Design Awards, the hospitality design industry’s premiere awards program honoring innovation, functionality and aesthetic advancements in product design.

Products showcased at HD Expo 2018 and offered for sale or use after June 1, 2017 are eligible for submission. Exhibitors are invited to submit products in the following categories:

  • Applied finishes and materials (wallcoverings, treatments, paints/coatings)
  • Textiles (upholstery and bedspread/drapery/casement)
  • Flooring (carpet/rugs, hard surfaces, resilients)
  • Seating, Individual (dining, lounge, outdoor)
  • Seating, Group (dining, lounge, outdoor)
  • Lighting (individual and series/collections)
  • Casegoods and freestanding furniture (individual and series/collections)
  • Accessories or specialties (artwork/signage/accent pieces, hardware/decorative metals/plastics, operations supplies/amenities)

The deadline to submit entries is April 13, 2018. Winning products will be recognized during the IIDA/HD Expo Product Design Awards ceremony on May 3, 2018 at 1:30pm in the HD Expo Social Hub located on the show floor.  Winning brands will be published in Hospitality Design magazine, featured on the IIDA website and mentioned in the HD Expo Show Daily.
